To install both the licensing, backup monitoring, and usage reporting, the Veeam MA must be installed.

== Add HBS as a Service Provider in the Veeam B&R console - Recommended ==
Follow the steps below to add the service provider.

# Click on "Backup Infrastructure" in the bottom left of the Veeam console.
# Select "Service Provider"
# Choose "Add Provider" on the top left navigation menu.
# Enter "<code>vcc01-lc.hbscloudservices.com</code>" in the "DNS name or IP address" prompt field.
# Check "Allow this Veeam Backup & Replication installation to be managed by the service provider."
# Click Next and then enter your Veeam Service Provider Console credentials that was provided to you exactly as formatted.
# Save the configuration and let the HBS Data Center team know it's been configured and what the machines hostname is.

== Install Veeam MA using Executable Installer ==
The HBS Data Center may provide an executable file that will install and configure the Veeam Management Agent.
