We use a shared IP address for our S/FTP customers to conserve our public IP address space.

You must use the hostname and not the IP address when using a dedicated S/FTP client.

Supported S/FTP Clients:

  • WinSCP - Free, Open Source ( Commercial Use Allowed - GNU General Public License 3 )
  • FileZilla - Free, Open Source ( Commercial Use Allowed - GNU General Public License 2 )

How to use WinSCP with Serv-U:

  • WinSCP - Advanced button, select FTP in left hand column and ensure Use HOST command to select host on the server is set to On
