Proofpoint will need to be added to your existing SPF record or emails sent out of Proofpoint may end up in spam.

Proofpoint SPF Records (US Region)

If you have an SPF record you will need the addition of include:_spf-us.ppe-hosted.com added to it.

Example:

example.com.  3600  IN  SPF  "v=spf1 include:_spf-us.ppe-hosted.com ~all"
